  • "A" sounds like "ah" (as in "father")
  • "Près" sounds like "pray" (like in "pray" or "play")
  • The "S" in Après is silent

Vous → voo ( /vuː/ )

  • Sounds like "voo" in "voodoo"
  • Keep the "vous" soft — avoid pronouncing it like "voose" or "vuhs."
  • Say it smoothly as "ah-PRAY voo" (slight emphasis on "pray")
